President Arif Alvi held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dr. Mahathir Muhammad in Baku on 25th October 2019.

Both leaders expressed the desire to further deepen ties through consistent engagements and by adding substance to them through increased trade and investment.

They reiterated their commitment to further expand bilateral relations for mutual benefit.

President Arif Alvi appreciated Malaysian Prime Minister’s statement for supporting a just and durable solution of Kashmir issue through relevant UN Security Council resolutions in his speech to the UN General Assembly.

The President highlighted the dangerous precedent set by India in its illegal and unilateral action in Kashmir in utter disregard of international law and norms.

He briefed the Dr. Mahatir Muhammad about India’s malicious designs to alter the internationally recognized status of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and change the demographic structure of the disputed territory.
